[Gal3:13 Christ bought us from the curse of the law, by becoming himself a curse]
Definition: Reconciliation. is the reestablishing of cordial relations.
The divine act that caused God to take the form of a man, in the person of Christ Jesus, and by his death, to reconcile man, to God.
By this action God solved two great problems. First, the problem of himself, which was to forgive man's sin, without remembering them anymore. Because of his perfect righteousness cannot in anyway forgive sin, unless the sinner pays the price of the penalty, which is death. This problem was given to Jesus that he himself took the responsibility to pay the price of death by dying on the cross. And then to convict man to believe and accept this offering of forgiveness through Jesus and receive this solution as the only solution for all his problems. As these two great problems are solved then God and man can meet together and become friends in the presence of Jesus Christ. |

This is the whole story of the Gospel, for man to enter in God and God to enter in man having a complete relationship without any interruption or distortion as had happened with Adam and Eve in the garden. For now between God and man stands a mediator, a man who is equal to God and a God who is equal to man, and this is Jesus, who has all the authority on Heaven and on earth. Jesus and only Jesus can solve the problem of the gap that separates man from God, because is the one that stands for man and takes in his place all sins that bather him to approach God, and at the same time He stands for God to speak for man forgiveness because is the only sacrifice that God cannot ignore but he must accept as the perfect sacrifice that fully satisfies his demanding righteousness, and moves him to forgive and to restore fully for everybody that has sinned against him. |
